Advent will be with you from hospital discharge all the way through training and setting up your new equipment at home to a ventilator weaning program.
Our Licensed and Registered Respiratory Therapists Will Conduct:
- Hospital assessments performed where a discharge timeline will be outlined
- Home visits and consultations to determine safety and potential modification needs
- Family meetings to ensure the patient has adequate caregiver support
- In-home and hospital bedside training on all equipment, including the transition to the home ventilator
- Home setups performed prior to the hospital or sub-acute discharge, and additional training for caregivers
- Ventilator weaning program as tolerated and prescribed by a physician
